St. James is an historic parish in downtown Gettysburg, Pennsylvania.
Our street address is 109 York Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325. To send us mail, use P.O. Box 4596, Gettysburg, PA 17325.
Because we’re such a quick walk from the square in the center of town, it’s easy to make it to services throughout the year. We are on the route of the annual Gettysburg Halloween Parade (join us that night for some unearthly fun!). And we host a special outdoor family-focused Christmas celebration on Stratton Street every Christmas Eve.
For your convenience, a small parking lot is available at the rear of the church, off Zerfing Alley.
Immediately next door on York Street is the residence of Gettysburg C.A.R.E.S., where the town supports individuals struggling with homelessness.
Two doors down on York Street is a Youth House — a safe center for youth gatherings, high school breakfasts, and confirmation classes.
The Early Learning Center (weekday childcare) is located on the ground floor of our building.
