SUZANNE HUBBARD is a retired USDA dairy genetics scientist as well as a retired organist and pianist from 2 Maryland churches. Her musical training started at age 4 with piano lessons from her grand­mother, and she studied classical piano and organ during high school with Dr. Charlotte Bullock of Hobart and William Smith Colleges. A performance member of the Friday Morning Music Club as a vocal accompanist, Suzanne served as a vocal accompanist and coach at Duke Ellington School of the Arts in Washington, DC. She began studying lever harp with Dr. Sharon Strange in 2005. Originally from the Finger Lakes region of New York State and a graduate of Cornell University in animal physiology and anatomy.  Suzanne retired to Gettysburg, PA, in October 2021, and joined St. James Lutheran Church in August 2022.

JESSE HOLT has been singing professionally as a lyric tenor for over 30 years.  A solo performance member of the Friday Morning Music Club, Jesse has participated in the Crittenden Opera Workshop and sung in the Washington Concert Opera chorus.  He is a graduate of Howard University and is a retired physical education teacher who has taught and coached tennis for the Maryland-National Capital Park and Planning Commission and the Greater Prince George’s Tennis and Education Foundation.  Jesse has also competed in two U.S. Open Tennis Championships.  A 2016 graduate of Wesley Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity, Jesse currently is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry at United Lutheran Seminary. His focus is on creating outreach community ministries beyond the walls of the church.  Jesse is a member of St. James Lutheran Church, where he serves as a Stephen Minister and a worship vocalist.
