DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the world which God has given us:\nTo nurture.\nTo protect.\nTo appreciate. \nCelebrate Earth Day at St. James.  Saturday\, April 22 at 5:30 p.m. and Sunday\, April 23 at 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. \nCall to Prayer\nWe who have lost our sense and our senses—\nour touch\, our smell\, our vision of who we are;\nwe who frantically force and press all things\,\nwithout rest for body or spirit\,\nhurting our Earth and injuring ourselves: we call a halt. \nWe want to rest. \nWe need to rest and allow the Earth to rest. \nWe need to reflect and to rediscover the mystery that lives in us\,\nthat is the ground of every unique expression of life\,\nthe source of the fascination that calls all things\nto communion. \nWe declare a Sabbath\,\na space of quiet: for simple being and letting be;\nfor recovering the great\, forgotten truths;\nfor learning how to live again. \nPrayer from Creation Justice Ministries; Earth Day Sunday 2023; Sowing Seeds\, prophetic action to climate-changed lands.
