DESCRIPTION:Reformation is a special celebration in the Lutheran Church starting with Martin Luther’s 95 Theses in 1517. \nRooted in the past and growing into the future\, the church must always be reformed in order to live out the love of Christ in an ever-changing world. We celebrate the good news of God’s grace\, that Jesus Christ sets us free every day to do this life-transforming work. Trusting in the freedom given to us in baptism\, we pray for the church\, that Christians will unite more fully in worship and mission. \nWe worship each weekend\nSaturdays at 5:30 p.m. and Sundays at 8:15 a.m. & 10:45 a.m.  All are welcome and we would love for you to come & worship! \nReadings for Reformation\nJeremiah 31:31-34\nI will write my law in their hearts\, says the Lord. \nPsalm 46\nThe Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our stronghold. (Ps. 46:7) \nRomans 3:19-28\nJustified by God’s grace as a gift. \nJohn 8:31-36\nJesus says\, Continue in my word and you will know the truth. \n\nGetting to St. James\nFor your convenience\, a small parking lot is available at the rear of the church\, off Zerfing Alley. There is also handicap accessible parking spaces and a ramp into the rear entrance of the church. An elevator is available in the building as well. \nParking meters line York\, Stratton and Middle Streets. Street parking is free on Sundays until 1:00 p.m. \nThe Gettysburg Parking Garage is within walking distance of the church as well. \nSt. James is a Reconciling In Christ congregation; All are Welcome!\nOur facility is handicapped accessible.
