DESCRIPTION:We have a jam packed worship weekend on Saturday\, April 15 and Sunday\, April 16. \nAt our 5:30 p.m. Saturday Evening Worship and 8:15 a.m. Sunday Morning Worship\, the Miracle Workers will be leading us in worship.  We appreciate their participation and enthusiasm in our family of faith! \nThen at the 10:45 a.m. Sunday Morning Worship\, the Scouts from Pack & Troop 79 will be participating in worship and they will also provide an opportunity of refreshments and fellowship between worship services. \nAll are Welcome!\nCome & Worship!  Come & See!!

DESCRIPTION:Telegraph Quartet program hosted & coordinated by the Gettysburg Community Concert Association\nEvening Concert located at St. James Lutheran Church \nTelegraph Quartet\nEric Chin\, violin\nJoseph Maile\, violin\nPei-Ling Lin\, viola\nJeremiah Shaw\, cello \nThe Telegraph Quartet formed in 2013 with an equal passion for the standard chamber music repertoire and contemporary\, non-standard works alike. Described by the San Francisco Chronicle as “…an incredibly valuable addition to the cultural landscape” and “powerfully adept… with a combination of brilliance and subtlety\,” the Telegraph Quartet was awarded the prestigious 2016 Walter W. Naumburg Chamber Music Award and the Grand Prize at the 2014 Fischoff Chamber Music Competition. \nThe Quartet has performed in concert halls\, music festivals\, and academic institutions across the United States and abroad\, including New York City’s Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center\, San Francisco’s Herbst Theatre\, the San Francisco Conservatory of Music’s Chamber Masters Series\, and at festivals including the Chautauqua Institute\, Interlochen Arts Festival\, Kneisel Hall Chamber Music Festival\, and the Emilia Romagna Festival. The Quartet is currently on the chamber music faculty at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music as the Quartet-in-Residence. \nAdmission is $20 per person or membership with the Gettysburg Community Concert Association. \nParking is available in the rear parking lot off of Stratton Street\, or parking meters line Middle and York Streets.  St. James Lutheran Church is handicap accessible via a ramp at the rear of the building.

DESCRIPTION:Community Shred Event at St. James Lutheran Church \nTaxes are wrapped up!  Spring cleaning and purging beckons!  Get rid of your personal information and sensitive data at the St. James Community Shred Event! \nTri-State Shredding will have their mobile shredding truck parked at the St. James parking lot on Saturday\, April 29 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m.  Community members are invited to bring up to 5 cardboard boxes or brown paper bags for shredding.  Cardboard boxes will be available for you to take home again.  Please no:  binder clips\, binders or books. \nNo need to pre-register or call ahead.\nNo drop-offs before April 29.\nNo more than 5 boxes or brown paper bags.\nFree & Open to All! \nPeace of mind from Tri-State Shredding: \nOn-Site Shredding\nTri-State Shredding will bring our state of the art mobile shred truck right to you. Feel free to watch the shredding process from start to finish to maintain your peace of mind. All shredded paper is then taken for proper and green disposal.
