Our time in worship is one of the most valuable ways to serve the congregation. It is when we are all together and our most meaningful opportunity of fellowship and faith.
We use an app called Ministry Scheduler Pro (MSP) to help assign and manage volunteers for our Sunday worship services. As a volunteer, you indicate the area(s) where you want to serve, which service you prefer, and when you cannot serve. The app does the rest and gets everyone scheduled. The more people that sign up, the more balanced the schedule is (you will be scheduled a few times over a three-month period, not every week!).
The other great thing about MSP is that if you run into a conflict for your assigned service date, you can simply click a button to request a substitute!
