Annual Congregation Meeting

All members of St. James Lutheran Church are highly encouraged to attend the Annual Congregation Meeting.

The 2026 Annual Report will be available on Friday, October 30.

The Annual Congregation Meeting is very important for church members to attend, and actively understand and participate in the meeting and discussion.

If you have any questions ahead of time, please speak with a council member or church staff.

To facilitate attendance, Council has decided to feed the parking meters on both sides of York, and Middle & Stratton Streets (the block of the church only). They will go around and start feeding the meters at 1:00 p.m. when the meters become active.

*Traditionally we have our Congregation Meeting the THIRD Sunday of November, however for 2027 we are delaying our meeting by a week due to the Lincoln at Gettysburg event.  Road closures will begin early Sunday morning, November 15 and we were concerned that attendance would be low for the Congregation Meeting, hence delaying it to November 22 when the roads are open again.  For details on the Lincoln at Gettysburg Festival, road closures, bus shuttle locations, etc. please visit Destination Gettysburg, Main Street Gettysburg, and Lincoln at Gettysburg.
