Building the Beloved Community

St. James Benefit Performance
Sunday, June 25 at 4:00 p.m.

As we approach the anniversary of the birth of our nation on July 4, we are reminded that freedom always comes with responsibilities, to one another and to the natural world that sustains us.  We don’t stand alone but are members of a community.  We become the people we are meant to be as we work to strengthen that community. We take but we must also give back to the people and natural systems upon which we depend.

Last September St. James member Will Lane presented a program of original songs focused on care of creation and the natural world. On Sunday, June 25, at 4:00 p.m., he will present a second program of songs celebrating the human community and our connections with one another.

A free-will offering will be collected to benefit the Adams Rescue Mission Endowment Fund.
