Enjoy some good ol’ fashioned country church fellowship on the farm!

The Vosslers invite St. James to come to their farm for our Church Picnic, known as the Annual Fall Festival & Blessing of the Animals.

We start the afternoon at 1:00 p.m. with the Blessing of the Animals which is a very brief prayer and blessing.  Even if you don’t have animals to include in the blessing, all are welcome!

Then we will eat immediately following the blessing.  The church will provide pulled pork, rolls, water and lemonade.  Please bring a side dish or dessert to share.  At St. James we always try to go-green so please bring reusable place settings (plates, utensils, napkins).  We will have a tent along with tables and chairs.  If you’d like to bring your own chair, you are welcome to do that too.

There will also be carnival games and fun for the kids.

Bring the grandkids, bring your friends!  Pray for great weather!  And we’ll have a grand time!
