St. James can provide a space for prayer and worship as you grieve the loss of a loved one.
Please contact a pastor before you finalize funeral plans so that we may ensure availability of the building and pastoral services.
It is encouraged that individuals complete a Funeral Worksheet; this worksheet answers questions about the funeral or memorial service, so that the service fulfills the individual’s wishes. Once completed, please return to the church office where it will safely be kept on file.
While St. James Lutheran Church does not have a cemetery, we do have a Columbarium where families can inter their loved ones’ cremains. This space is located on our upper level, and may be visited by family when the church is open, and flowers may be placed near the niche. Please contact the church office if you would like to view the Columbarium to aid in your end-of-life decisions and plans. There is paperwork and fees to reserve a columbarium niche. Please contact the office to make arrangements.
