Prayers

To request prayers, please use the contact form below. The Pastors, as well as other staff members, will receive your prayer request.

Praying is pivotal in the church. It is the simplest act of kindness that we can show for one another, and there is power in prayer!

You can request that you or an individual be added to our Prayer List or our Prayer Chain.

Prayer List the individual’s name will be printed in our bulletin and verbally spoken in our prayers during worship service. All individuals on the Prayer List will automatically be included in the Prayer Chain.

Prayer Chain the individual’s name will be shared with members of our congregation each week via email to be prayed for by the congregation members. This is a good option if someone prefers to keep their identity more private.

Prayer Chain

Your prayer request will be added for 2 Sundays. Please be in touch with the pastor or staff member if your prayer request should exceed the two week timeframe.

If you feel the need for additional pastoral care, please inquire with a pastor. St. James Lutheran Church participates in the Stephen Ministry program which is a wonderful peer-to-peer ministry.
