Fall Worship & Picnic
Enjoy some good ol’ fashioned country worship & fellowship on the farm!
The Vosslers invite St. James to come to their farm for our Fall Worship & Church Picnic.
New for 2026, we will gather for worship at 10:00 a.m. at the Vossler Farm (665 Knoxlyn Road, Gettysburg).
This will be the ONLY Sunday worship service. We will not have worship at church on October 18. (We will still have the October 17 Saturday 5:30 p.m. worship service at church.)
The worship service will follow a Creation Theme and will include a Blessing of the Animals in the service, as well as communion for all. It is your discretion to bring your pets and animals for the entirety of the event.
We will eat immediately following the worship service. The church will provide pulled pork, rolls, and water. Please bring a side dish or dessert to share. At St. James we always try to go-green so please bring reusable place settings (plates, utensils, napkins). We will have a tent along with tables and chairs. If you’d like to bring your own chair, you are welcome to do that too.
There will also be carnival games and fun for the kids.
Bring the grandkids, bring your friends! Pray for great weather! And we’ll have a grand time!
