Wednesday, April 2 – Message by Gabbi Scavitto, Dinner by Faith & Fellowship & Seekers Sunday School Classes

These forty days called Lent are like no other. It is our opportune time
to return to the God who rescues,
to receive the gifts of God’s grace,
to believe with the heart and confess with the mouth the wonder of God’s love in Jesus,
and to resist temptation at every turn.

Come & Worship.  Come & Prepare this season of Lent.

We will enjoy a time of fellowship at 5:15 p.m. in the dining room each week.  Soup and bread will be provided by various Sunday School classes and committees.

Then at 6:30 p.m. we will gather in the worship space for our Unfailing Light mid-week worship services with messages shared by congregation members.  This year’s theme is “Treasures in Heaven” and the theme scripture comes from our Ash Wednesday Gospel from Matthew 6:  Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth… But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven… Fore where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.
